Great small area game for developing ownership in defending the puck. The circle constraint forces defenders to stay engaged, anticipate, and apply pressure with intent. Found that players off the puck became more aware of their environment and supported the puck carrier more effectively. The task builds connection, awareness, and responsibility, showing how puck movement and positioning shape both offensive options and defensive outcomes.
