In this SAG, players can only spend 3 seconds in the "house" or the area in front of the net. This encourages players to move quickly in and out of scoring areas to create space for themselves and their teammates. Coaches should encourage players to create high quality scoring opportunities, get shots off quick, and take advantage of rebounds. Switching sides of the ice to create problems for the defenders should be a priority. For defensive players this game will reinforce the importance of protecting high value areas, identifying and defending "dangerous" players in the "house" and movement when the puck switches sides of the ice.
