As a alumni of Hockey Brandon, I was fortunate to be part of the 2004 U18 Brandon Wheat Kings National Championship team before spending four seasons in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. After stepping away from the ice to pursue a career in business, I eventually returned to the sport in 2018, beginning by coaching my oldest son at the grassroots level. This passion led to the creation of RSF Performance Hockey Development Camps in the spring of 2022. Within a year, I expanded the company into a blog featuring affiliate programs, skill camps, and an annual spring league that runs every April and May which supports over 18 teams across four divisions. Recently, I was honored to accept the Head Coach position for the newly established Western Canada Hockey Academy U15 Wolves team, set to compete in the PHL for the 2025/2026 season.
