STAR Hockey Academy C.S.S.H.L. Head Coach U16/U18 – Tier 1 National Bound Program

 

STAR Hockey Academy in Seattle is seeking a motivated and experienced Head Coach. This position is responsible for coaching, managing, and coordinating all team activities while fostering an environment of athletic excellence, leadership development, and academic growth. The ideal candidate will embody our mission of developing tomorrow’s leaders in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing team and player development plans, leading practices, games, and travel schedules, and collaborating with program partners and families to ensure each athlete's success both on and off the ice.

 

Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, alongside a passion for high-performance hockey and athlete development. Essential qualifications include a valid USA Hockey Level 4 Coaching Certificate, relevant safety and ethical certifications, and experience in high-performance hockey programs or post-secondary preparation. This position requires travel, recruitment, and active involvement in the community, along with a commitment to maintaining a positive team culture and upholding the Academy's values.
