Brad Kothlow is the founder of Atomic Hockey, Director of the Atomic Hockey Academy, and a Director with the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers Junior A Club. His development philosophy blends biomechanics, skill acquisition science, and modern pedagogy to create aligned, system-driven coaching environments that accelerate athlete development.

Brad is best known for building coaching systems that remove the randomness from player progression. Through unified technical language, shared correction cues, and deliberate progression design, he ensures athletes receive consistent, high-performance instruction across every session and every coach.

Beyond his work in youth development, Brad’s role with the Trailblazers Junior A program gives him direct insight into the demands and standards of high-performance hockey—insight he brings back to the players, coaches, and families he works with.

He also consults with academies, associations, and skill coaches on designing scalable, high-quality development models.
