One thing we talk about in having the confidence to drive to the back post off the rush. 

Here are some options to help you score more goals cutting across the crease. 

1 - slipping pucks five hole as the goalie opens up. 

2 - taking pucks around an outstretched pad to the back post. this puck can be extended and finished on the ice or elevated over a pad. 

3 - flipping the puck short side as the golaie leaves the close post

4 - stopping and coming back to the close post to finish the play off

These are options that depend on the space and positioning of the goalie. Players must be able to react and adjust under pressure.
