This is a faced paced, transition based drill that covers NZ regroups, 2 on 2 rushes, 2 on 2 battles in front of the net and is continuous. What more can you ask for?!

Description

2 forwards start in the neutral zone, with a puck. 2 D start in the neutral zone.

  • On the whistle, the two forwards attack the 2 defenseman through the neutral zone.
  • During that rush, coach blows a second whistle. On the 2nd whistle, the two forwards curl back and regroup with a coach.
  • Forwards curl deep into the neutral zone, receive a puck back from the coach and attack 2 on 2 into the offensive zone.
  • As the puck enters the zone for the 2 on 2 rush, 2 new forwards and 2 new D enter the zone.
  • The forwards and D play out this battle until a 3rd whistle takes place. On the 3rd whistle, a new puck is dumped below the goal line.
  • Forwards grab the puck, pass up to the D for a shot on net and 2 on 2 battle in front.
  • A 4th whistle will be blown which triggers the 2 new forwards to attack the 2 D who just shot the puck and the drill starts over again.
