This drill is a smiple variation on a 2 vs. 2. It allows for more room in the beginning to create spaces and lanes, as well as to cause some chaos for the Defense.
SET UP:
In a straight line from just inside the zone set up F1, D1,F2, D2, and then a goalie in net.
RUN IT:
After the puck is passed in to the F1, the forwards split sides, with F1 taking the puck one direction, and F2 headed the other.
D drops in and engages the offense and prepares to defend along with the goalie.
Play ends with either a goal or the defense clears the puck out of the zone.
