We play 3on2 in one half of the zone. The third forward (F3) always stays higher.

Once one of the two defensive players (white) gains possession of the puck, three new offensive players (white) start with the pass from the opp. side, creating a short breakaway situation.

At the same time, two new defensive players from the far half of the zone skate back to re-establish a 3on2.

The original five players exit the zone immediately after the transition.
