Strand is heading into his 6th season behind the bench of the Musketeers after previously serving as the Musketeers Head Coach from 2009-2011. A native of Wisconsin, Strand has gained coaching and management experience at various levels of the game.  Strand's coaching career includes NCAA Division III and Division I, USHL and AHL time.  His NCAA resume includes St. Norbert College, UW - Eau Claire, and University of Wisconsin.  Strand's USHL coaching and managing experiences include the Green Bay Gamblers, Madison Capitols and here in Sioux City.  The head coach and general manager of the Musketeers, filling that position from 2009-11 and going 58-47-15 in the process.  He also served at the team's general manager during the 2013-14 season.  In 2010 Strand won a gold medal with Team USA in the 2010 World Junior.
