Just a guy who loves hockey and enjoys helping young players grow their love for hockey. I grew up in Pittsburgh playing for the Pittsburgh Hornets (now Penguins Elite) and was lucky enough to play in New England Prep School hockey and NCAA Division I hockey at Army. Along the way, I picked up some great lessons about hard work, what makes great teammates, and what makes this game so special.
These days, I hold a USA Hockey Level 4 coaching certification and spend my time figuring out how to make the game more enjoyable and rewarding for youth players. My coaching philosophy is simple: create an environment where kids can work hard, improve their skills, and most importantly, have fun. If they’re loving the game, they’ll stick with it, and that’s what it’s all about.
I don’t have all the answers, but I love thinking about the game, learning from others, and helping young players discover their potential.
