How to create Zone Time and Scoring Chances getting away from tight D-Zone Coverage - Overload/Shrink

  • A lot of teams have their SSFW (DZone Coverage) low - inside the face off circle - going from Low to High to the point spreads coverage out
  • D to D wide if a quick shot of a pass is not possible
  • Shooting lane not available - rim release in this case by #44 TOR
  • #89 TOR as Net front Forward ready to pick up the rim shortside post - anticipating D-man
  • #11 TOR supporting the play again away from pressure
  • #89 TOR spinning off pressure #7 VAN
  • Low to high again - all 5 players VAN colapsing really low
  • #11 TOR still an option far corner
  • #44 TOR cross ice to far corner
  • #89 TOR comes up high into the slot
  • 3 players VAN puck-watching - not aware of #89 behind them
  • Grade A scoring chance
