With Carolina’s aggressive up-ice pressure and their ability to turn turnovers into quick counterattack chances, puck management becomes critical. These indirect plays allow Vegas to avoid forcing pucks through pressure, use the width of the ice, and let their forwards skate onto pucks with speed rather than receiving them flat-footed.
