I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of the great Claude Lemieux at the age of 60.

A great competitor and champion of the game, his presence in a Habs’ uniform was legendary. I had the privilege of speaking with him a few years ago after coaching a game when he was asking ME for advice. I was forever humbled by that conversation. The hockey world just got a bit darker today.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, the Montreal Canadians organization, and Hockey Canada.

Je suis profondément attristé d’apprendre la mort du grand Claude Lemieux à l’âge de 60 ans.

Grand compétiteur et champion du jeu, sa présence sous l’uniforme des Canadiens était légendaire. J’ai eu le privilège de lui parler il y a quelques années, quand il me demandait conseil. J’ai été à jamais touché par cette conversation. Le monde du hockey vient de devenir un peu plus sombre aujourd’hui.
