We've all heard and used the term "Scan". Do our players know what it means? It's important to know what/who we are actually looking for, when are the best times to do it, and why it's so important. We want to take advantage of open space in threatening areas. With the puck, we want to know where teammates and defenders are so that we can find, create, and attack open space. Without the puck, we want to know where teammates and defenders are so that we can find, create, and become available in open space.
