In this small area drill, we are working on the one-timer, or two touch shot, but in this instance we are forcing your hand - whatever hand its on, that is how you shoot it.
SET IT UP:
Pile the pucks in the crease, and put your nets at each face off circle.
One player is the passer, while the others line up at the blue line.
RUN IT:
On the whistle, skaters drop in along the boards and curve in at the hash marks, receiving the pass around the center of the face off circle.
The shot should be a one-timer or one to two touch settle then shoot. NO STOPPING at the puck.
If its on the forehand, shoot. If its on the back hand, shoot.
The shooter then becomes the passer, and the passer joins the line to shoot.
Once the entire line has gone, switch sides.
NOTES:
If limited on goalies, you can run this drill with only 1 net in the center, and the feeder pucks come from the opposite side as you alternate.
