Power Play face off (Sweeper):

The percentage of face off won is important during a game.It is the first battle of the shift. And on the power play, the principle is the same. We have the will to win the first battle and especially to have possession. There are many goals scored in the first 30 seconds of a power play.

Positioning a player at the top of the circles that we call the sweeper allows to oppose 4 players vs the 4 players of the P.K. We remember the importance of the face off.

With the sweeper, it is easier for the player positioned at the H mark to play his battle. It allows him to anticipate the pressure without having to read the situation. He will gain precious time.

To increase the success rate on a face off situation, all players must plays on the same page.
