🏒 Fast transition starts with a shared understanding of what happens when we win the puck.

This video breaks down five concepts that help players move from defending to attacking with purpose:

⚡ Puck moves north FAST. Move it before the opposition has time to recover.

↗️ Strong-side forward (SSF) is always a stretch option. Create depth and force opposition D outside the dots.

👀 First option is NORTH. Scan early and recognize opportunities to advance the puck.

🔄 Build structure only if we must. When the immediate attack isn’t available, use support lanes to reorganize and create the next opportunity.

🤝 Forwards support the puck and fill lanes. Work together to provide connected passing options and space to attack.

The coaching piece is teaching players to recognize these options, understand their responsibilities, and make decisions together. Give them a clear picture, then build these habits into practice.
