Two lines against the boards. Coach spots the puck across the ice against the far boards. One player is designated as the puck carrier and the other is designated the angler. Both players start toward center ice and then turn around cones toward the blue lines. The puck carrier continues down blue line, turns up boards and picks up puck and continues to the net to try and score. Player designated as the angler turns around cone, continues around cone near center ice and takes a good route to angle player toward the boards and separate the puck from the attacking player. Alternate each line as the puck carrier and angler so drill alternates which end of the ice it ends at.
