Defender and Skater start side-by-side, while a puck is chipped to the corner. 

Defender has to take a route behind the net. Skater takes a route in front of the net. Skater is working to use speed and body to establish the lane to the puck in front of the defender. With possession, the skater moves up the wall evading backpressure from the defender. 

A second skater is starting from middle-ice on the blueline, and timing a run across the top of the zone to create a scissor play with the first skater. The players turn back and attack the defender 2v1.
