This is a fun, fast pace drill I like to start or end practice with, it works on rushes, gap control, breakouts, zone entries, 2 on 1s and even 3 on 2's.  I like to keep track of goals vs saves, turnovers and foster a good healthy compeitition.

Here's how the drill looks:

Part 1 & 2

F leaves with puck and shoots. F on opposite side leaves and curls down low getting pass from coach. They go up ice 2 on 1.

Part 3 & 4

Once F1 and F2 shoot, F3 leaves with a puck from beside net. Two new D have now entered and gapped up at blue line (first D is done).

Forwards go 3 on 2 down ice, F3 and F2 go hard to net for scoring chance. F1 turns back up ice and gets pass from coach and goes in on breakaway.

Once F1 shoots the drill starts all over again.

Coaches keep track of goals.
