3v3 cross ice game in which the puck carrier CANNOT PASS to his teammates. This requires the offensive teammates to provide good puck support should the puck get stripped or mishandled. Additionally, puck carriers should be looking to shoot early and often with teammate’s aggressively seeking tips and rebounds. Coaches provide a new puck as saves are made, goals are scored, or pucks go out of play.  Put the whistle away and have players change on their own to build good line change habits. You can also play the game using a quarter of the ice with 2v2.
