This week, Troy takes a look at how to make good line changes with forwards off a dumped puck and what is the most important thing to emphasize after establishing your team systems.

“Depending on the level you’re coaching, some will say they don’t want to change on the backcheck and do it earlier, and some are okay with it,” he said. “Obviously what happens is there’s a sort out period in D zone coverage which can extend the offensive play time of your opponent. That’s something that you make a decision on as coaches.”
