Alternating Outside Edge Down the Line with Hop

Drill Description:

  • Players perform alternating outside edges down the blue line with a one foot hop on the change of foot. 

Key Teaching Points:

  • Neutral start.
  • Good knee bend-positive shin angle.
  • Push onto a strong circle.
  • Keep foot back until hop.
  • Strong knee drive-toe leading on hop.
  • Land on the outside edge and repeat.
