Puck Reception - Shooting

Drill Description:

• Players line up on opposite ends of the blueline.
  
• First player skates across blue line and receives a pass from the opposite player.
  
• They will work to engage their outside edge to surround the puck and release a shot in one motion.

Key Teaching Points:

• Stay low.
  
• Engage outside edge.
  
• Shoulders square.
  
• Hand in front to manage space.
  
• No stickhandling.
