Pass Reception - Defencemen Transition

Drill Description:

• Player skates, turns towards the coach and receives a pass
  
• While receiving the pass, they work on engaging the outside edge, surrounding the puck, then make a pass to the other player in one motion.
  
• Player will skate in for a shot
  
• They loop back towards the blue line and repeats the rep of the first player to continue to drill

Key Teaching Points:

• Top hand in front.
  
• Engage outside edge.
  
• Shoulders square.
