I am a highly motivated and active individual, willing to accept new challenges and learn from a variety of different experiences and jobs. I have been very involved in sports since a young age. It has taught me many key and valuable life lessons and skills. Being in a team environment has helped me learn more about interdependent relationships with co-workers and peers, where we can achieve the best result for the goal or challenge by working in a positive and collaborative relationship with one another to generate ideas and solutions.
I have gained life experience participating in sports and being an active member of leadership groups within our teams. I have captained and co-captained many teams over the years in hockey, rugby, and lacrosse. Additionally, I have a background in coaching. I have been involved in a coaching/instructor role with various teams and development programs since 2015. I am currently the Technical Director and a head coach with the Strait Richmond Pirates Minor Hockey Association. Using my skills from my previous positions as an Assistant Coach and General Manager for the Strait Pirates, a Junior "B" hockey club in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League to further develop the players within the organization.
I was lucky enough to attend The Coaches Site Live Conference in Ann Arbor, Michigan in June of 2025.
