Long time presenter for The Coaches Site after 25 years as a presenter and curriculum and content creator for USA Hockey Coaching Education Program.  Extensive experience coaching and the youth, junior, and professional level.  Currently with the Long Beach (NY) Sharks of the NA3HL as associate head coach and goalie coach. 

Coaching mentors include Lorne Henning, Barry Trotz, Don MacAdam, Rob Laird, and John Paris, Jr. all of whom I was lucky enough to work with and spend extensive time with.  Highly influenced by my time and friendships with the late Roger Neilson and EJ McGuire who provided invaluable insight to me in my career.  

I consider myself a student of the game.  I'm always learning, always picking brains of high level coaches, and always willing to have a good debate on all areas of our game at the pro, college, junior, and youth levels, all of which I have spent the last 38 years coaching. I'm a coaches symposium junkie, having been to 14 Roger Neilson Coaching Clinics back in the hey dey of that clinic as well as half a dozen USA Hockey L5 Masters Symposiums (I got my coaching masters in 2001) among many others.  I still have my notes to every presentation I was ever at. 

The past 22 years I have been an anlyst for mainly the CBS Sports Network broadcasting college hockey games and the past 17 I've been the analyst for NHL Network's broadcasts of Team USA's games at the World Junior Championships.  Talk about an enviornment to pick some brains....that has been a coaching education I don't think anyone in America has been privvy to.  Amazing stuff from so many high level minds.

Longtime NHL scout with Toronto, Montreal, and Seattle, 11 years total.  Curently working with Lincoln of the USHL evaluating draft prospects for the USHL Phase 2 draft. 

My goal is to bring the insights I have picked up as well as those of these high level coaches to The Coaches Site in my presentations and videos.  I'll also share some video meetings we have with our team to share with HS , U15-18 coaches and junior coaches what it is we're emphasizing, correcting, and building.
