Pyry Lukkarila has established himself as an experienced and premier hockey figure in Finland across a variety of skill levels and organizations. A respected authority on ice hockey in Finland, Lukkarila is currently working for the Finnish Ice Hockey Association as the Head of Coach development. Prior to his current position, Lukkarila served as a Senior Director of Coaching for a burgeoning club team in southern Finland, as well as a coach for teams ranging from the U6 through U20 age divisions. Lukkarila’s experience and accomplishments can be attributed to his strong educational background gained at the University of Jyväskylä where he earned his Master’s Degree in Sport Pedagogy, with a minor in coaching and physiological testing.
