Jessica Campbell currently serves as an assistant coach for the NHL's Seattle Kraken, making her the first woman to hold a full-time coaching position in the NHL.
Campbell played for the Canadian women's national team, winning silver at the 2015 IIHF Women's World Championship and participating in the 4 Nations Cup. She also played for Cornell University's women's hockey team and the Calgary Inferno in the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
After retiring from playing, Campbell focused on developing her coaching skills, working with various teams including the U18 Canadian women's national team, the Malmö Redhawks in Sweden, and the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in Germany. She also became the first female coach in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
