As a Head Coach and General Manager with over 20 years of experience, I possess an extensive understanding of the game along with the communication and interpersonal skills that allow me to connect with today’s modern players.

Equipped with an educational background, I believe my understanding and application of how young people learn the best help our athletes grow as people and players. A player’s development is directly linked to their willingness to learn and work, therefore my demonstrated ability to recruit the right people is among one of the most critical skills I possess in my coaching toolbox.

I can only ask players to put forward the same amount of effort that I put into operating as Head Coach. Therefore I must set the standard and lead by example. I pride myself on a strong work ethic and have witnessed my team’s work ethic mirroring my own. Year after year, the trademark of the teams I coach is that they are the hardest working in the league.

Ultimately, a Head Coach’s job is to make the right decisions at the right time. Establishing team discipline and rewards, setting expectations, and holding players accountable as well as skill development, tactics, system play, and team building are some of the critical areas of the on-ice responsibilities. I believe that a coach’s responsibilities do not end once the athlete leaves the arena, rather they include aiding their athlete’s maturation process as young men. One of the many ways this development is accomplished is through various volunteering responsibilities throughout the year. Through altruism, my players learn indelible life lessons while adding valuable experiences to help increase their future educational and employment opportunities. This same community service also serves as an invaluable marketing tool for the club.

I believe a Coach’s success can be based on two criteria: the development of his players playing at a higher level the following season and the coach's record, by that metric I am proud of my body of work and will continue to strive to improve in these areas.

Coaching is my passion, I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from and teach players every day. I am truly living my dream.
