One of the best ways to improve your coaching is to take what you learn and put it into practice. That’s exactly what I’m doing today with a group of junior players, using techniques from Brandon Naurato’s Mastering Pro Shot Selection & Goal Scoring course on The Coaches Site.
We’re starting with the basics: pushing the puck versus pulling it, then adding different points of pressure. From there, we’ll move into small-area games to see who’s applying what they’ve learned and where they need more coaching.
