Puck is chipped to the wall area. Player 1 and Player 2 are racing to gain puck possession. The skater that establishes lane position to the puck should use body and deception to gain clean puck possession. Once the skater has the puck, he or she is using puck protrection skills and deception to keep possession by moving feet, using body, utilizing the obstacles, and speed to evade the opponent in tight playing space.

Drill runs for about 8 seconds and then coach releases the puck carrier to take a shot on net.
