Goalie Coach / Video Coach
Kansas City Mavericks (ECHL Affiliate of the Seattle Kraken & Coachella Valley Firebirds)
The Kansas City Mavericks are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to serve as the club's Goalie Coach / Video Coach for the 2026-27 season.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development of our goaltenders while assisting the coaching staff with video analysis, pre-scout preparation, and day-to-day hockey operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily development of Mavericks goaltenders.
- Conduct individual goalie sessions and video review meetings.
- Prepare opponent pre-scouts and post-game video breakdowns.
- Manage Sportscode and video systems.
- Assist with practice planning and on-ice coaching duties.
- Support player development initiatives with ECHL, AHL, and NHL affiliates.
- Assist with recruiting, player evaluation, and hockey operations projects.
- Travel with the team throughout the season.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in goaltending instruction and development.
- Experience with hockey video systems (Sportscode preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced professional hockey environment.
- Previous junior, collegiate, or professional coaching experience preferred.
