Description
- Players set up in 4 lines in a square
- One player skates straight across to the far line, receives a pass from the line on the left on the way, and passes to the first player in the line straight ahead
- After the player to theleft makes the pass, they start to skate and receive another pass from their left
- Drill is continous
- Progress to receive passes on the backhand, one touches, or receiving on the backhand and passing on the forehand
Key Points
- Players need to scan the ice before they receive the pass
- Get the eyes up to see the target in the next line
- Start slow! Don't race out of the line, take your time, get the passing and timing down, and then add speed
