Long-time friend of TCS Tim Turk is back with a drill designed to push players to improve their passing skills by making more passes than they normally would in this type of situation.
Description
- players start on neutral zone faceoff dots with pucks and two low faceoff circles without pucks
- players skate around opposite circle, up and out of the zone, and back through the two lines
- during that skate players have to complete eight passes
- after the initial player shoots, they take the place of the low dot player
- drill repeats from the other side
- run out of both ends
Key Points
- players need to show good targets and control
- players should one-touch passes or make bump passes as long as they're in control and accurate
